Sonja Yuill
I believe every person deserves to be both literate and understood, no matter their age or history with school. My work centers on foundational reading and writing skill development in the context of the learning process itself—especially for students who were left behind by traditional methods. I help families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams uncover what’s possible when we identify the right starting point and adjust instruction accordingly. I teach students, families, and teachers not to wait for help. I teach them to be the help.
